Retired U.S. soccer great Abby Wambach married Christian writer Glennon Doyle Melton on Sunday.
The former U.S. women's national team star and the blogger and author both shared photos of their wedding day on Instagram.
The couple announced their engagement in February, just three months after Melton revealed they were dating.
Melton, known for her Christian mom blog Momastery and her New York Times best-selling memoir "Love Warrior," separated from her husband in August 2016, while Wambach revealed her split with wife Sarah Huffman the following month.
Wambach retired from the U.S. women's national team in in December 2015. She scored 184 goals for the team, more than any other player in international soccer history, and helped the U.S. to Olympic gold medals in 2004 and 2012 and the 2015 World Cup title.
